I don't think we'd even have to annex Mexico, just open up the border and they'd all come here, the country would be empty. Then who would make all the Tequila and grow all the ditch weed? I suppose we could let them have Utah, it's not doing much for the rest of the country anyway. We could rename it Tierra De Alubia, think of how easy it would be to find construction workers, and the lawns would be immaculate!
While we're on the subject of annexing our neighbors, I'd like to float my idea for reducing or eliminating the national debt. Yes, I'm talking about selling Canada to the Chinese. It's them we owe all the money to, and what do they need more than space and wood? It's not like it would take a lot of time or money to take over our northern neighbor, from what I hear it's mostly populated with illiterate sport fisherman and faux-Frenchmen, hardly the stuff of an effective resistance. Hell, we could charge the yellow man extra if we clear out the French before they get there. If they want to dicker over the price, we could shop it around to some other overcrowded Asian countries, the Japanese might cough up for a chunk of BC, and maybe the Indians could scrape together a few rupees for a bit of Toronto. I'd say offer some to the Bangladeshis, but I don't think they have any money. Maybe we could give them some of Quebec as a humanitarian gesture, I doubt any rich Asian countries would want it... I mean, we could just keep the place, but as we have plenty of wood, fish, and illiterate sport fisherman here in the states, why would we want it?
