We have our rights as people with AS. I can marry someone else with AS etc.

Marriage is probably the least of my worries, and asides if any kids were had within that marriage there is a decent chance the social people will nab them. There are other more basic things that most of us dont have fair access to,

Such as?
And if I was with a woman who had kids from another marriage and she died, I wouldn't necessarily have custody of them, if we weren't married. Even if we'd been together 15 years and they'd never seen their biological father.

Jobs, Oppotunities, the risk of being sectioned for example. There are many more things.

Wow, you don't know what latent homosexuality is EITHER.
It is linked to homophobia. Most homophobes have some low-level suppressed same-sex attraction.

The bolded phrase is what being straight IS, as far as anyone can tell. If a same-sex attraction is totally suppressed, then it's not even known, therefore the person feels (therefore is) straight as straight can get, especially under our theory of gay/straight ratios.

NO.
You can't get your head round it, can you?

It's you who can't. "Suppressed urges" are not true urges, just the seeds of urges. An urge not realized is not an true, articulate urge, because it is neither defined nor known.

There are already laws against discrimination on the grounds of disability.

Not calling Christians stupid for believing the Bible might be a good place to start ;)

I can call you stupid for your beliefs. You can call me stupid for my beliefs. It's a bit different to kicking out you kids because they're gay, or bullying someone for 7 years in school.

The bullying only tends to happen if someone at school is dim enough to announce that they are gay. Being an aspie on the other hand, thats a way of getting bullied that is very difficult to avoid or get out of.

Not true. A lot of people guess if someone's gay, or one of their friends tells people.

Choosing to act camp, or telling there friends that they are gay are just both acts of rank stupidity really then.

So they should have to lie to their friends for years like I did?
And it's not choosing to act camp. My friend who was gay was very feminine since primary school. He didn't choose to act camp, he's not camp. It's just the way he is.

*snorts* Which are rarely enforced, and violations of the DDA are normally impossible to prove. And then there are laws that are directly anti aspie, like the mental health act for instance.

No. They're attracted to other men, but try and tell themselves they're not and pretend to themselves that they're only attracted to women. Similar to what I did.

Well I don't see many Aspies regularly being denied their rights.

Well they have a choice at least to lie, and asides its not too hard to tell a lie like that. Your friend is welcome to be feminine, but he must have let slip he was gay somewhere down the line.

WTH does that mean?

No, fighting against the natural outcome of votes is babyish. Trying to get the votes in the first place is your right.

Yes, and that's what they're trying to do, by changing the views of society.

There are far better things to be changing the views of society on these days...

Definitely! I don't think the world is a few gay tweaks away from perfection.
Save us, Elton!

No, but allowing gay couples to get married is a pretty easy thing to do. Jesus, it's not hard. It didn't exactly cause the UK to fall on its feet when we did it...

Well, coming from someone who doesn't think God or the afterlife are serious concerns, it's hard for me to imagine what would be an important matter to you. Your whole value system is totally different from mine.

He didn't actually. He only admitted it to ANYONE after we left school.

My point is that by changing the views of society, this can change. Isn't it obvious?

Ya, but you'll be bullied for AS the rest of your life, as will I.
