See? Trump wants to work with the Demos, but they sure aren't clapping. The Demos are the problem that both sides are unable to come together! They are fighting Trump every step of the way.

This is like saying if you really cared about refugees you would share your home with them. Or adopt/sponsor a refuge kid for life. So unless you do something extremely proactive about it, you don't have the right to feel passionately about it. Put your money where your mouth is et al.

From your moral high horse/keyboard, I'm sure it's easier to just demand that people do as you will them to. Try that in person.

If would be a laudable accomplishment if Trump can bring down drug prices across the board.

Can't believe the Demos stood on that one.

Obama had tried working with Repubs, even going to the extent of using the Republican healthcare plan now known as Obamacare. But Repubs were too obsessed with making Obama a one term President, and wanted to see him fail at everything.

My well-worn critique of the corporate structure aside, it takes a lot of money to develop new drugs. I don't care as much about saving people as I do about the science for it's own sake, but that's my problem.

Limiting executive compensation, and sharing the burden of drug development, are two things which would be well-addressed by global treaties. I can't see national reforms done independently working on their own.

Obama was milquetoast and compromised too easily. That's not going to be the case with Trump.

He certainly never fought as hard as I expected, and certainly not as hard as I wanted. To me, it seemed like he started negotiations by meeting them halfway, then went to three-quarters, then nine sixteenths, and so on, and it was never enough.

Maybe the Demos are warming up - they're clapping more.
