No he didn't. He didn't tell ANYONE. They guessed, just like the did with several others, it just so happened they were right with this one.

They guessed, as they guessed with probably half the year. All he had to do was deny it, possibly in a witty fashion even.

He did deny it. Again and again and again. For years. It doesn't matter who they guess. The point is people are bullied for years for being gay, whether they're actually gay or not.

Denied it in totally the wrong fashion then, i assume. There are many ways out of getting caught, you just need the arguing skill to use them.

Ya, but you'll be bullied for AS the rest of your life, as will I.

I'm not bullied for having AS.

You have to leave the flat first.

Obvious trends. Don't play the victim; the tide is obviously turning your way.

LOL Why would that offend me? I'm just relieved.

If I asked out a gay woman, I WOULD be ret*d! Plus I have an all-Christian policy, so, I'll leave Soph to her relief.

So because he isn't good at arguing with people, he deserved to get treated like s**t for the rest of his life?

Not calling Christians stupid for believing the Bible might be a good place to start ;)

I can call you stupid for your beliefs. You can call me stupid for my beliefs. It's a bit different to kicking out you kids because they're gay, or bullying someone for 7 years in school.

The bullying only tends to happen if someone at school is dim enough to announce that they are gay. Being an aspie on the other hand, thats a way of getting bullied that is very difficult to avoid or get out of.

Not true. A lot of people guess if someone's gay, or one of their friends tells people.

And Aspies??? They kind of just present themselves as such without meaning to, don't they? :?

Yeah and they can get married.

Really?? Tell most of the people on WP who have been virgins against their will for 30, 40, and 50 years.

1. I have done. It's only in the last year that I've given up on going out with 'friends.' And I'm at uni every day as of September.
2. I'm not playing the victim. I don't get bullied for not being straight either, because no one knows IRL. Things are getting easier for people with disabilities as well - YOU'RE the one playing the victim by claiming you're going to be bullied for the rest of your life.

I would guess there are many more Aspies in the world than people with your distinct relationship preferences.

ffs that's completely different - I can't do anything about that - IF THEY FIND A CONSENTING PARTNER, THEN THEY HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO MARRY THEM.

No one has exactly the same relationship preferences. Mine are quite simple - I generally like girls.

Both of which I'm vehemently against. What's your point?

My point is that by changing the views of society, this can change. Isn't it obvious?

Again, I don't see gay marriage as harmless. Not at all!

So how does me marrying someone I love who just happens to be female harm you in any way?

I might as well ask you how you can bet your eternal soul that a God you don't like doesn't exist. That's the bigger question -- and by far.
