Pascal's Wager. How unoriginal!

Believing in Jesus is like Chicken Soup. It wouldn't hurt.

If you don't believe in Allah, and Allah is real, then both atheists and Christians are heading to eternal torment.

If scientology is right, we are all crazy Thetans, and we are all raving.

If Aleister Crowley is right, then we are all fools, and we will reincarnate until we get it right.

If Hindus are right, same thing.

No, if we are right then we haven't wasted our lives on meaningless drivel. Btw thanks for demonstrating your total lack of Christian compassion by committing the sin of judging others. See you in hell hypocrite.

Allah is the same God as Jehova. The Qur'an mentions several times that both the christians and the jews pray to the "true god". Hindus also believe in a creator (Brahman), albeit in a less anthromorphized form than the Abrahamic god.

The name "Allah" was used before Mohammed by pagans in Mecca for their creator deity. This name was not considered to be a singular god. Instead it applied to a god having associates and companions, sons and daughters -- in other words, a polytheistic pantheon of gods and goddesses, demigods, godlings, and other associated supernatural beings, such as the djinn and their kind. These djinn (or genies), together with humans and angels, make up the three sentient creations of Allah.

This polytheistic nonsense was eliminated under the monotheistic nonsense that is Islam, although they did hold onto that stuff about djinn, humans and angels.

All right first off...
I'm saved so unless I commit the Unforgivable Sin, I'm going to Heaven no matter what I do. Not that I'm gonna go rob a bank or kill someone, but I can't lose my salvation. Ever. So, no you won't see me in Hell.
Two: being a hypocrite ISN'T what sends you to Hell. It's your very first sin. So hypocrisy CAN send you to Hell, but not unless it's your first sin.
Three: Where do I judge others? I fully admit that I'm a sinner. Notice that I used OUR not YOUR. The only difference is that I accepted that Jesus died for me so I can go to Heaven. I don't know if you have or not, but that's between you and God.
Four: Would you enlighten me and point out my 'hypocrisy'?

Allah is a word that means "the God"--so yes, it also refered to a singular god. Pretty much any pre-Muhammad Arab religion with a supreme God used the word "Allah" and this includes the Arab jews and the Arab Christians.

In the ancient Arab religion you're thinking of, the rest of the God's were subordinates of Allah.

So you believe in mass genocide of nonbelievers?

Well what if your wrong about YOUR God being the right one? There have been nearly 3000 God(s) in human existence THAT WE KNOW OF so using that logic, it's best to worship EVERY God(s) just to be sure you get into heaven. Besides if God exists he would see through that deceit and send you to hell.

Personally IF the Christian God exists I would prefer to go to hell. All the worlds free thinkers amd the majority of my friends are hell bound so thats obviously the place to be. Heaven is filled with sanctimonious holier-than-thou arses such as some people in this very post(not mentioning any names to avoid attacking anyone) and God is the most evil and unpleasant character in all of fiction, me going to heaven would be the same as you going to hell. Your heaven would be hell to me. I hate most Christians as is, why in the bloody hell would I want to spend ALL OF ETERNITY surrounded by those ignorant fools. Imagine a mass of particles the size of the sun, now imagine if a butterfly came and brushed a few particles off, in the time it would take the butterfly to brush off all the particles with its wings would be the equivalent time of one day of eternity, that's a long freakin time, there is no way I'm spending it in heaven. I prefer hell with my drugs, rock n roll and women of ill repute. Oh and all of my heros such as Thomas Jefferson, Albert Einstein, Timothy Leary, Arthur C. Clarke, Plato, Epicurus, and many more people who I would spend all of eternity with smoking pot and discussing science and philosophy.

The only Unforgivable Sin in the bible is denying the Holy Spirit which, oddly enough, is the easiest to deny. I know this because every year omn the anniversary of me learning the truth I reaffirm my beliefs by denying the Holy Spirit from my heart and my life. I want no part if such an evil entity. And personally I pity you for your ignorance.

And a Christian telling an Atheist he is going to hell is like a child telling an adult Santa isn't going to bring him any presents. Essentially that's how atheists feel when Christians say that, as in we don't care, we don't accept your belief as true, so we don't believe in the existence of hell ergo we aren't scared of hell.

You are a hypocrite because, in direct contravention of the rules of your god, you have taken it upon yourself to judge us and decide that we are going to hell - and doing it in an extremely smug manner at that "So either way, I win"; you may as well have added "ner-ner you're going to hell and I'm not ner-ner". The privilege to decide who is going to hell is specifically reserved for your god. Additionally, in order to be forgiven for a sin as per the rules of your religion then one must be truly repentent. People like you are never truly repentent about their vitriolic attacks on those that don't agree with them ergo if you are right you are going to hell just like me. You can't wriggle out of it. In fact impenitence itself is considered to be part of the unforgivable sin by the faiths practiced by the majority of Christians and a strong argument can be made that by repeatedly refusing to acknowledge the vitriol you are displaying towards other people that you are committing that exact sin. It's funny the various loopholes that various different Christians will come up with to excuse themselves from going to hell despite their constant and unrepentant sin like your "point" number 2 "first sin" nonsense.

Tbh I am only entering into this conversation because I am bored. I'm not going to hell and you're not going to heaven. When we both die we will rot. In a few billion years the sun will become a red giant and swallow our planet. The end. The only sad part is that I wont get to see the look on your face when you realise that you were wrong and you spent your whole life on this - because we'll both be dead and you wont have a face on which to have a look.

The Vatican's views on birth control have been taken out of context? I am in goddamn Panama, where the Catholic Church makes it hard for people to get birth control. What am I taking out of context?

The Vatican funding science? Suppose they are doing that, what's the purpose of it? Mending the mistakes of the past? The Vatican is funding stem cell research? Are you for real?
