It's stupid when feminists say that porn is misogynistic

Indian, Thai and Arab amateur porn seems to be particularly bad for it.

Never watched any of that stuff. So I am a bit innocent. That said, I pretty much never watch straight porn. Always lesbian, gay, bisexual threesomes. The third world stuff there is rarer and usually from Latin countries for the threesomes, or Russia for gay male porn, but still it's sometimes a bit rapey, so I avoid. Haven't seen any amateur lesbian stuff that looked non-consensual.

They die after seeing somebody walk by that watches porn.

Damn right they do!

(joking, but I bet they're not impressed!)

You seem to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of every possible type of porn out there!

I love the way you say it's bad but you've watched it just to check eh?

At least he knows what he's talking about, rather than making assumptions.

Also, what's part of the problem with online pornography is that if you do go there, you do so at your own peril. The websites just assume that you want to see those things. Most people (I guess) don't exactly get off on watching the nasty stuff. When I've seen it by accident, I always close the window and lose my horniness. :eew:

The porn industry is to blame here because websites wouldn't exist except to make money - it's not the people's fault that they can't watch people having sex (which is a pretty normal desire) without coming across a lot of ugly stuff.

I've never looked for it and never will. Just as I'd never go looking for such things as the video of Sadam Hussein's hanging or Ken Bigley's death but plenty of others did. I've no desire to gloat over another human being's horrible death - call me weird!

Wanting to watch glorified snuff films is nothing like wanting to watch another person have an orgasm.

I think there's crossover though when things get nasty. I bet there's a correlation between wanting to watch porn and wanting to watch horrible death videos as the mentality is "I need to see all there is to possibly see!"

Well, all I can say is that in my particular case, you are absolutely incorrect. I hate violence. I can't even watch violence on tv and film without cringing and looking away (most people can) and that stuff is obviously fake.

The internet is a surveillance state with online activity constantly being tracked by various sources. However, people that view porn websites regularly are usually in denial to themselves about this.

Yup - it's generally in the countries where women's rights are not enforced and there's a massive honour/shame culture, where pornography is illegal and where there's a stigma towards it and where sexual abuse/rape is not taken seriously where most of the nasty amateur stuff is produced. It's just mixed in with everything else. One doesn't know what might be good and what might be bad before you watch it. And as it's filmed by people on cameraphones, the quality is often unwatchably blocky too - usually well lower than 240p.

Beheadings and shootings of folk by jihadis and the like aren't snuff films. Sorry, but they aren't. If the intent of making them isn't to make money, it's not a snuff film.

I was reading an article and a throwaway part of it concerned the guy at Google responsible for removing jihadi execution videos. Apparently, he knew everything there was to know about beheadings in particular - he had become an expert in them, and he spent all day removing that stuff from YouTube and from search results.

I'm sure that stuff is there to cater to a demand, but the demand its meeting is not representative of most porn viewers, I think. I reckon (I could be wrong) that the ones clicking on the brutal stuff time and time again are a small hardcore of porn addicts who have a problem. The industry creates this stuff to encourage porn addiction because although it's a small percentage of their viewers, it's the people who they make the most money out of.

I want capitalism out of the bedroom.

Well I know crap all about snuff films. I just know I don't wanna watch people die.

I guess the jihadi execution stuff is put there to 'educate' people about how horrific radical Islam is, but I reckon a lot of people watching that stuff get a kick (maybe an unacknowledged one) out of the violence. I just know I feel sick watching violent things, and I'm not masochistic enough to make myself do it.

I was actually reading that the stuff is less popular than it used to be. If you're talking about FA, Meatholes and the like.

When you read the experiences of the actresses, you have to wonder how those bastards get away with stuff like that.

It's not like Kink, for example, where the women enthusiastically consent. A fair bit of the very little FA stuff I've seen looks like rape to me.

That would explain why Russian gay porn is so :eew: , given their record on gay rights over there.
