LOL@ "getting laid? Is getting laid the obsession? That gives an indication the age level the origins of this thread. Much more important things in life than the contemplation of when I am getting laid next. That term is making sex a "conquest" or an "objective," which seems kind of juvenile. I don't think even in my horndog years I ever left home at night with the objective of "getting laid." It just happened when it happened and I was grateful for it. This is beginning to be amusing.

Well at least you were grateful, did you send her flowers?

This is sarcasm, correct?

I was never capable of making sex an objective when I was younger. I was literally paralyzed by women It was like I was in the presence of Medusa, and am sure women could tell. It happened usually because I met someone who took the initiative. I was never a chaser, but I did enjoy the end result. I have never really had what you would call a "relationship," with any particular sexual partner. Yes, I would show my appreciation, with gifts and things, to the obvious amusement of any observers. I know I was a throwaway toy when I was in my twenties. I really was an innocent. And I didn't have a clue. Only later, in retrospect have I begun to understand.

Yes,I was being sarcastic.I don't think anyone is obligated to send flowers.Sorry you got treated as a throwaway toy, that's not very nice behavior.

This explains soooo much!! !

The Feminists have a meme: "100,000 Reasons Why I NEED Feminism" or some such thing.

The MRAs could start a similar meme: "If it weren't for Feminism..."

For example: "If it weren't for Feminism, then I might actually get laid once in a while."

Well, salamandaqwerty, you know there are prostitues available at any time. And they're not expensive. It's not difficult to understand that this is not strictly a sexual issue. This is difficult for men who thought that what they were/are is exactly what women want, when in fact it's the opposite that they want. And it's "difficult" for those feminists because they have to deny this to the last consequences, or else, their whole belief system would crumble.

Anyway, I think I will stay out of this for a while.

your deluded,, for much of what is going on, is men are haunted by that pheromones women put off. then women want men to become what they want, when that scent in many ways drives us., I make statements about it, men do not argue, while women say nothing about it until its not what they want to hear. men and women are not built the same.

I've known some nymphomaniacs who might resemble that remark.

like a flower that can choose the insect, woman has become. men come, woman choose. there is no equality only balance for that flower. man has to become what that woman wants, or his lineage parishes. she is the flower that drives man. for women, pollinators come a dime a dozen. there is no equality;.

As a 90% asexual man, the whole gender role thing is absurd to me. I'm just not interested in the whole "chase" game. I think what I really want more than anything is just a really close friendship. That doesn't happen in this society because there are discrete boxes and lines you're not supposed to cross regarding relationships. You're not allowed to hold hands or cuddle with someone who's only a friend. It was okay as a child, but as an adult you're supposed to stay physically removed.
