I agree with Jacoby. Trump is the only viable candidate. It can't be Hilary or Bernie. They just won't get the votes this time around. And it won't be Cruz or Rubio, neither of them is presidential.

Frankly the more exposure Trump gets, the more I like him. He is reflective to public response and may be smarter than he seems.

In answer to the original question, I think a successful Obama appointee is unlikely and a democratic presidential victory even more so.

So you're saying that you think Cruz is a Canadian?

Yes, they are. But most people are not eligible for either.

For Medicare, you have to be at least 65 years of age.

For Medicaid, you have to be either really, really poor or on some sort of Government assistance. Or a dependent of the really, really poor person or the person on Government assistance.

The majority of people in America are not eligible for either.

Oh brother. I think I just threw up in my mouth.

Did it taste like tuna?

I'm manufacturing a special hairball just for you, MissLizard.

I suggest you add mineral oil to the tuna. That should help, maybe some wheat grass.

Where I live, we have 'OHIP' a single taxpayer pool universal health care in Ontario. As a result, there is no discretion on where you get your health care and medical treatment.

I don't talk like Trump---and neither do people I come in contact with. And they are a wide spectrum of people--trust me, they are.

I dislike "political correctness" with a passion bordering on mania.

I might dislike Trump even more.

I'm sure that if he wanted to run here he'd be allowed... unless he renounced his Canadian citizenship; then he wouldn't.

I don't know how you guys would view him in terms of his eligibility for the office of President. That would depend on some legal research.

Why don't you ask your patients?

Because that is the job of Admitting. I treat the physical ailments. That's why I'm asking the people who are supporters of Obamacare and if they don't have Obamacare themselves then they really don't have much say on the matter, in my opinion. I have had personal experience with Obamacare and I think it is an absolute farce just like who it's named after.

Tell that to people with pre existing conditions. Before they were denied medical care.Who cares who it's named for,as long as it helps people.

That's just it - it's not helping people. I would like to hear from just ONE person who has been actually helped by Obamacare - just ONE.

You already said you are not in admitting,so how would you know.?Do you work in billing?

Because I have not heard from one person that has Obamacare that it has helped them. Most of our patients that offer up their health insurance information to me have BCBS mainly or none at all.

Auntblabby, you say that you were able to go to the doctor for the first time in your life, but you are not coming out and saying what you are having to pay (deductible-wise). I had to try to find insurance other than Obamacare when I lost my job because my deductible for Obamacare just for me was $6,000 and for families it was $10,000 or higher. It's no secret what the plans are because there are only about 3 you can pick from depending on whether you are single or have a family. All the plans are right on the internet. What is YOUR deductible?

And most people (including my friend Julia) that I have talked to are going to pay the fine because it is the cheapest way out. Thing is, the fine is going to be raised so that isn't going to be a way to go either. The IRS will be keeping track who has Obamacare and if they don't then it will be taken directly out of their tax refunds.

I dislike political correctness, and I agree, it is something that liberals do indeed try to sustain in all of life's faculties. I can remember that they banned some song by the Dire Straits on the Canadian airwavesbecause one of their songs was derogatory, and it seems that it tooks several decades for anybody to be offended by their lyrics.

Cruz renounced his Canadian citizenship a few years ago, he claims that he didn't even know he had it which is not very believable given that he is Princeton/Harvard educated lawyer. He's such a liar, he'll say anything and stab everyone in the back that is stupid enough to ally with him, he is a parasite to the American political system, the ultimate politician.

Trump is the best candidate running, there is no doubt about it. He is worth the gamble, I don't buy nonthinking fearmongering from the incumbent fascist elite about how bad Trump is. Hillary has shown herself to be much more autocratic, every other Republican seemingly wants war with Russia. Trump will destroy the two party system, he will take the trash out in Washington.

Oh Boy....we have some real Winners running for President these days!

Not that I like the guy....but Cruz is eligible to run. Because of his mother's US citizenship.

I bet everybody here would like Teddy Roosevelt!

I don't feel Roosevelt would have been such an imperialist if he were alive today.

Teddy would probably be supporting Mr. Trump in his quest to make America great again
