Unless your were feigning offense in an attempt to cop an apology (sometimes fun) you did it all wrong. You tell them that you ARE an ardent Trump supporter and that you love Steve Bannon, too. It doesn't have to be true, it just has to have an angering affect on them.
End it with GO TRUMP! GO TRUMP! GO TRUMP!

The Hittites were Indo-European people---and seemed culturally akin to peoples like the Akkadians and the Babylonians.

The Egyptian culture was more influenced by those further south, such as the Nubians. Indo-European influence was pretty minimal.

The Hittites were already using iron, while Egypt was still using bronze.

Their "level of civilization" was similar, I believe. Both had capital cities and centralize authority, and both governed a considerable amount of territory. Both levied taxes on the populace, usually in the form of agricultural produce. Both had writing, of course. The Hittites used a modified cuneiform, derived from the Sumerians; whereas the Egyptians, of course, used hieroglyphics. The Egyptian Pharaoh was worshiped as a god would be. The Hittite rulers were similarly worshiped.

I should also mention that the Hittites were also prominent during the Egyptian New Kingdom, up to about 1200 BC.

I really feel like the Egyptians were too arrogant to see the efficacy of iron right away. And iron metallurgy had some imperfections early on, which had to be resolved. It seemed like a "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" sort of situation for the Egyptians. They were on equal footing as war adversaries, though.

It took a while for them to even adopt the wheel, even though they had chariots by the Middle Kingdom. The Pyramids were built without any wheels whatsoever.

Wrong.

The Akkadians and Babylonians were SEMITES. Not Indoeuropean peoples.

The Hittites were Indoeuropean- and had a common origin with the ancestors of other Indoeurpeans like the Greeks. And even had an Indoeuropean type pantheon of gods (with a head honcho who threw thunderbolts similar to Zeus). But they also became influenced by the Mesopotamian culture of Akkad/Babylonia.

I never said the Akkadians/Babylonians were Indo-European. I just said the Hittites were culturally similar to them.

Go ahead tell your story, say what ever makes you feel good. If you tell it enough you might start believing it. I will not, but you might.

The nazi references are not shocking, your irish masked terrorist icon is not scary, but keep portraying yourself as a "tough guy" if it makes you feel good.

What I have found is the person who tries convice of something is trying to hide that part of him or herself.

Trump is "...like a smart person"

And you are "like a badass" in the same way.
