All capitalism is predatory capitalism, capitalism has been plenty predatory for the entire time it has existed because that's it's very nature. That trajectory accelerated because even supposedly "left wing" parties bought into the idea that "pro-market" or "pro-business" policies (aka neoliberal) are always the solution to economic concerns.

If you start undoing reforms intended on addressing failures of capitalism you'll end up seeing those failures re-emerge. This will play out as you describe, but the problem is structural and that's why minor reforms are unlikely to achieve their desired goals.

The game seems to be to offer inadequate reform, see it fail and then undo it and insist that's proof reform can't work so we need to just let the invisible hand fix things.

I do not agree, respectfully.

I believe that about 34% of capitalism & 66% socialism is a perfect mix.

People want to achieve and be rewarded for their hard work, genius, intelligence & creativity.

Not everyone is equal.

^ I'll add to that, that it is human greed that ruins capitalism, capitalism isn't a bad thing in & of itself.

Every economy is a mixed economy in practice, it's not as though market relations would cease to exist at all within a largely socialist economy; but I think the idea of trying to assign percentages makes no sense at all because they offer no insights into what actual policies one might prefer, what exactly one's economic rights might be or how they're assured.

Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.

That was just a simplification. Obviously things are a lot more complex than that.

I just meant 66% of wealth being distributed & 34% being the profits of the business class is an ideal state, for me, anyway.

This is Wagner Group, one of the Russian forces operating in Ukraine.

They're legitimately a neo-nazi organization. If you think those guys are interested in de-nazification of anything you might want to reconsider the propaganda you've absorbed.
