There have been lots of comments, mostly from Jacoby, claiming that Hillary would have sent us into war. I was responding to those statements.

Sorry I didn't make that clear. I was interested in your reply to the second part of my post.

The Trump administration has not learned from history. Letting a story trickle out will make you look worse than coming clean.

I am honestly not that impressed with Sessions's alleged perjury. It was clear that Franken was asking that question in the context of the 2016 campaign, and whether Sessions was sending messages between Trump and the Russians. Likely, Sessions did not think of the 2 legitimate meetings he had with the Russian ambassador, with whom many members of Congress on both sides of the aisle have met and probably just one of many countries' ambassadors he's met, because it didn't fit within that context. So I'm just not seeing the intent to lie and mislead.

There's nothing legitimate with this as has been the case with the whole series of Russia connection allegations.
I think the plan is to build a false history of scandal to bring up in 2020. There's always been a very obvious intended goal to either remove the President from office or to keep him from being reelected.

And like how the Democrats didn't want Bush reelected and so on down through history. The point is, that's likely what all the Russia nonsense is over.

Obama tapped almost everybody's phone; President Hollande, Chancellor Merkel, now impeached president Dilma down in Brazil, and many more. In all likelihood Obama was spying on Trump and his actions after the election speak to this fact.

I would not be at all surprised to see Trump end up in jail. I think it will be treason because of his ties to Russia, but it could also be an emoluments violation.

Trump hasn't committed treason. He's not going to jail.

All this treason talk is hyperbole.

Trump is just a dumbass deal maker at times who sometimes gets his allies wrong.
