the concept of this thing is good, lets Obama pick the brains of the web, because it allows him to see any arguments for and against an idea played out before he says it publicly, take leglalizing pot, he sees what people say for it, against it and the line of reasoning behind each.

Because all of this nonsense is nothing but an intellectual circle-jerk.

My idea is an idea whose time has come, but do you really think self-interested politicians would ever enact it?

They want people to feel as if they have some input, but most of what happens will be disregarded if they don't like it.
