Increased material prosperity correlates with declining fertility; civilized countries already have too few babies, generally speaking. The world's population could already crest as early as 2050 with a paltry 10 billion. AIDS is an impediment to this known effective method of decreasing fertility rates.

Lose a loved one to AIDS, and then see how you feel about it.

That is a heartless thing to say. The world may be over populated, but saying that a terrible, terrible disease that kills innocent people is good is awful. I don't think I'll post anymore on this, it's too terrible.

What about when overpopulation leads to a population crash and everyone you know dies?

As much as the OP massively fails, he is right in that overpopulation is one of our, if not the most, severe threat to our civilization. We will have to take bold action. Genocide is obviously out of question, so stunting the population growth is very important.

AIDs isn't really something that has a good side. If it kills people then it shouldn't really have a good side to it.

what about a doctor who's helped tens of thousands and is accidentally pricked by an infected needle or a good samaritan who gives mouth-to-mouth to a junkie or a baby born to rape victim?

AIDS can kill both productive and non-productive people. Starvation is a much better reduction agent. It kills off the least productive portion of the human race.

Nonsense. The Earth could carry three times as many people as it does now.

I repeat, lose a loved one to AIDS, and then see how you feel about it.

The epitome of despicable human selfishness:
-"Better them than us."

Roughly translates to:
-"I hope everybody else die so that I can live."
