It's not an admittance of that, anymore than an NT in an Aspie nation would be inferior because they can't compete within the 'normal' context of the aspie nation.

Did I say all Aspies would be joining? Besides, Aspergers isn't more common in males than females, it's just it's diagnosed more often.


Did I say they wouldn't? Chances are, they wouldn't like it because it wouldn't function according to their strange beliefs and 'social skills'.

From what I have seen on this site I would be no more comfortable in a society of the people present here than I am with those I see in other human societies. I do not claim either to be unique or superior but merely pretty different from everybody including many participants here.

There is something to be said for isolating a group of people under a common purpose, but I doubt an aspie nation could have a common purpose in anything but the vaguest sense.

With the creation of this second site, it would seem that the Aspie Separatist Movement is already divided.

If Magneto and Zyborg cannot work out thier differences, in order to maintain a united front, while thier numbers are still in single digits; what does this tell us about their future?

I imagine much time would first be spent on defining the term purpose.

State of a Nation topic

There has been discussion in the past year about a permanent aspie retreat that would be self sufficient and run by those with AS. Kind of a permanent commune thing, but no one could figure out how the land would be bought and how food would be grown. Inventor wand some other guy (I cannot remember his name) were having a rather interesting post exchange, but then it fizzled out.

That would be sort of what I imagine an Aspie Nation to be like. Entirely voluntary, although some may choose to stay permanently. Crown dependency (if it's in the Shetland Isles), much like Jersey or Guernsey. That means we don't have to worry about defence, but can still make up our own laws and have our own government

but the ratio is still skewed maybe its misrepresented but thats how its represented right now which means your ratio will be somewhere along those lines if your lucky.

They'll fit in probably as much as an Aspie does in an NT society.

I quite like the commune idea. That's how I imagine it starting, and maybe not growing much bigger than a town size. You've heard of city states? This would be a town state.

Where's the thread on the commune idea? I quite like the sound of it. It couldn't be self sufficient in all things, but most it could be. Sort of a micronation.

Its probably fallen off the database. Perhaps a modly person can reincarnate it.

Communes are for cults, natrualists and hardcore hippies.
