Kinder Surprise
Every Kinder Egg has different layers
Plastic, chocolate, plastic and plastic
What kind of metaphor could that be?
Perhaps a person is plastic on the outside,
And plastic on the inside
But the second layer is all chocolate

My kinders’ original outer layers were foil. I have lots of them saved in a tin because sometimes they have limited offers where if you send a particular number of wrappers, they will send you something back (like cardboard “display” thingies).

You never know what you are going to get, so sometimes the inner layer is a paper product or metallic or wood or something else instead of plastic.

it's another in a long line of bad puns. Kinder, in English, means to be more kind...;)

Words are tricky. Kinder in German refers to children and is closely related to the English word kin which means family relations.

The biggest surprise about Kinder eggs is how many people buy them. I mean, a penny's worth of crap low grade chocolate and a bit of crappy plastic that cost about 5p. Just goes to show, put enough sugar in something and kids will eat it up.
