Wait wait.... Are those same people proclaiming the Bible has all the answers also the same ones trying to justify its inconsistencies? <.< Sorry Henrik if this is merely copying in part what you've said.

Well, I guess if they hold the view that the Bible is inerrant they would also say the Bible has all the answers.

It has ocurred to me actually, that "nonsense" is relative and subjective.

No, I dont wonder why, I wonder what he thought it would get us?

Ahhh Fuzzy thanks for the memory, I was at Concrete Blond's final show in Aus (early 90's from memory? i think it may have even being their final show period). When Johnette Napolitano started this song the crowd took it of her and sang the whole song back to her, the band stopped playing and just listened, she had tears rolling down her cheeks. It was one of my all time favourite gigs and definitely my all time favourite encore

I agree with the OP. There is no set time when Jesus comes again. I would imagine it would happen when the world is at an appropriate state where he can come again.

No, not really... there was a mis-translation. Ragtime meant he would be returning abruptly.

It's tough to see the point of posting then unless you thought that someones faith might be wavering due to ignorance of that fact and would be strengthened by it.

I think that he meant: I won't be back to check this thread...SOON!! !
