Qaddafi has never admitted to bombing Flight 103. Never. Not even once. Why do people lie? They say, 'he paid the victims, ergo he admitted guilt'. False. He paid off because the sanctions on his country were costing Libya billions. It's like saying that a man with a gun to his head willingly gave a donation to the robber.
That isn't to say Qaddafi never did anything wrong. The bombing of that French plane over Niger in 1989, for instance - Libya had been at war with France and France tried to bomb Qaddafi's own plane! Qaddafi paid them off for that one AND admitted to having been responsible. He never admitted responsibility for Flight 103.
Again, when Bush the Elder said, "I will never apologise, I don't care what the facts are", he sealed the doom of an American airliner. He with his stupidity to say that to apologise for killing hundreds of people is to apologise for the existence of America... what an idiot. When Khomeini spoke of the skies raining with blood he was not joking.
