I am quite fond of my mobility and ever since I encountered my nervous system I have discovered a rather congenial relationship that I would be sorry to lose. Nevertheless I have no ambitions to be a god.
And yet 70 years ago, the idea that one could call any text, any movie, any music to them almost at will would seem a godlike task.
Never bad to be ambitious. We already have some godlike qualities in our society.
Note: not godlike in the sense of being like the idealized judeo-christian magic man of ever happy perfection...godlike in our manipulation of our environment and what exists around us.
