I'm glad to hear that BoA was there for you when you needed them. The problem you had with paypal sounds particularly gruesome mainly because of the large amount, but also because I thought paypal was an extremely secure and trustworthy way of making on-line purchases.
It sounds as though you don't have a credit card from BoA but only a checking account. I've never had any problems with my BoA checking account.
