And how can you anyway. Paul and Muhamed claimed to be directly inspired by God, so if you believe one of them you believe everything they say is perfect, bigoted parts and all.
It's not a question of whether what they said is true or not. Not for the LGBT community that is religious. It's a question as to whether those that wrote their stories and opinions down got it right.
Either way, doesn't matter to me. I cannot accept an omnipotent and omnipresent god that throws the misguided to some mythical creature that's the embodiment of everything that is 'evil'.
