Mice with human brains!

Well, I'd say O'Donnell there is a convincing argument for the idea that someone's growing humans with mouse brains...
I would be amused to see comparisons of O'Donnell's performance on standard maze puzzles against laboratory rodents.

also: i wish people would stop talking about that woman's ridiculous soundbites about how she thinks whacking off = adultery or that mice are being successfully crossbred with humans or that she played goth-girl one weekend in high school. this is someone who doesn't know that the first amendment is in the first amendment. -if you want to argue that the phrase "separation of church and state" isn't an accurate paraphrasing of the beginning of the first amendment, please try.- this is a woman who thinks evolution is a myth and that "intelligent design" (read as: creationism) should be taught in public schools if the local schoolboard would rather teach it.
i DGAF if she played goth in high school but i think her satanic alter remarks might have offended some wiccans. though, i'm sure she doesn't consider that to be a real religion, anyway. then again, once you believe in magic....
i DGAF if she thinks mice are being crossbred with humans.
i DGAF if she thinks masturbating is adultery.
i DO care that she doesn't understand that a working scientific theory carries weight.
i DO care that, at a time when our country is being surpassed by nearly all other industrialized nations in education, she advocates teaching "intelligent design" (read as: creationism) as equally as valid as evolutionary theory.
i DO care that she doesn't seem to have ever heard of Edwards V. Aguillard and doesn't understand that the first amendment is supposed to prevent the government from taking any stand on religion, one way or the other. private schools are allowed to teach whatever they fishing want. public schools are supported through your tax dollars and mine. we may disagree on what should be taught on religious grounds and, the same rule that protects your children from being taught scientology or flying spaghetti monster worship in public school, protects my children from being taught creationism. it's a pretty awesome rule, btw. it covers free speech, freedom of the press, and freedom of religion all in one!
then again, she is trying to get into congress.... and the first amendment is a pretty long document to expect a politician to read all the way through.....
wtf am i even writing this for? people who vote for christine o'donnell are the kind of people who think thomas paine represents libertarianism.
i expect her to win.

Is it irony that this most vocal proponent of "Intelligent design" is clearly anything BUT intelligent?

Sadly, all the stuff you DGAF about is essentailly the garbage a lot of average Americans care most about. I share your concerns about O'Donnell, but I'm not worried about her actually winning. She's way, way behind in the polls.

Nice start. Perfectly in keeping with the thread's tone.

Ignoring her, sadly, won't make her go away. Even for those of us living outside the states, the thought of this cretin attaining any form of political power is a frightening one. But, seemingly, America enjoys sitting idiots on pedestals. Perhaps you collectively like watching them make arses of themselves.

No arguments here.

Will you still NGAF if she gets elected?

I think these are all related to the things you say you DGAF about.

Well, if you don't know why you're writing it, asking us isn't going to help.
