Too bad, Keynesia isn't a real place we could send of these people :lol:

Say what you want about Tea Partiers and Glenn Beck fans but they certainly seem more informed than these people.

That's just propaganda from reason tv. They're a bunch of utopianists who think everyone who isn't on their side are communists and that going back to the market liberalism of the gilded age will magically take away all our problems.

Probably cause Glenn Beck fans are more informed than these people. I know it is a mean thing to say but it is hard to take someone from Mos Eisley Cantina and someone dressed up as Hitler to be entirely with it upstairs.

Which it won't. We need a sea change in our thinking. Historically economics has been the discipline and philosophy of scarcity management. The world is in a new place. We have to learn how to manage plenty and abundance now without destroying either ourselves or the planet.

While there are many elements of the market economy that are beneficial, the main driver of economic change is now technology which can have some serious side effects on both the society at large and the condition of the planet. We have to come to terms with that.

Nonsense. Lend-Lease and later war production put everyone back to work and then some. We had a labor shortage because four million men were at arms so the women had to be hired.
