Batman's religious/political views?

That's quite intriguing. I've not actually really been involved much with Batman or "Batculture" as I like to call it until the Rocksteady games and the Dark Knight trilogy (I've actually only seen Rises). I'm not aware of much of his actual views. He is evidently capitalist though, that's incredibly apparent.

I don't know much about the amygdalae (I think there are two...?) but I seem to remember it was associated with dreaming or something of the like. I don't know what else it is responsible for.

Interestingly, he's even more conservative in 'The Dark Knight' trilogy since he's depicted as being pro Patriot Act and spying on everyday citizens as long as it can detour crime.

Basically it's the fear cortex of the brain which describes why many of them are phobic of "the other" and of social change.

I believe, although I could be wrong, that it would lead one to devising methods of killing their friends if need be as well.

...When I saw this, I thought it was a reference to this story in the - I think still - upcoming issue of BATMAN. I should look it up...........
