Glenn Beck's mind goes to dark places
Not to mention: why would an Australian national care to save a country that isn't his own?
To which I would respond why would an Australian national want an ally of his country to implode?
You know this thread is so blatently a hit piece it is hilarious. Also this kind of smear has been tried already can't mediamatter be more original.
Glenn Beck is a wild and crazy salesman. He's quite successful at it too. He kind of reminds me of that Crazy Eddie guy from years ago. Anyway, he makes millions by literally selling the apocalypse to his viewers. First the gold business, and now it's the food insurance industry. His viewers seem to be completely unaware of this conflict of interest, hence his huge earnings. I used to think he was just completely insane, but now I can see that there's clearly a method to his madness.
It no longer fits the definition of paranoia when a group has put out a $100,000 price on him
It's pretty easy to do with anyone. I'm smart enough to know that one clip is not the entirety of ones character. Obama visiting 57 states ring a bell?
He's a mainstream, higher paid version of Alex Jones. Except Alex Jones doesn't sell that same moralistic fascism tone that Beck takes. Beck is like a combination of Oral Roberts and Alex Jones.

One stupid comment while plainly sleep-deprived and travel-weary is embarrassing. The inability to form coherent sentences, and constant gaffes in every single interview and debate, is something entirely different.

Don't forget, a significant part of the Fox media empire is in fact owned by the Saudi royal family. Now, what interest would a group that heads one of the more fundamentalist Islamic countries, whose royal family supports Wahabbist traditions, and which provided seventeen of the nineteen 9/11 hijackers, have in undermining the Great Sa- er, the United States, one wonders?

It was an article on the Huffington Post that has since been removed and the author "apologized" for after getting flack for it. Here is a piece of the article.
It is time to pop the tea baggers’ favorite balloon (so what if it will be replaced by another?), and with that in mind I hereby offer to negotiate a $100,000 payday to the person who will come forward with a sex tape or phone records or anything else that succeeds in removing Glenn Beck from the public eye forever. I am not offering the cash myself, but I will broker the deal and/or raise the money for what you bring to the table. (And it better be good.) If you have the goods, or if you want to contribute to a slush fund to buy more takedowns (probably not tax deductible), please contact me at: glennbecksext…@gmail.com.
Heh, my favorite we site.

Glenn Beck reminds me of the old Peter Gabriel song Big Time, where the singer is talking about how everything he owns is BIG!
It used to be, selling doom was a niche business. Reagan sort-of legalized domestic shortwave radio in 1983, which then became a conservative outpost. And not Rush Limbaugh conservative-there's some really WEIRD dudes on there. Most of the programs are geared towards selling overpriced "survival supplies". One guy on a survivalist forum was complaining about buying "Stagecoach Silver" (slogan: For when you need to get out of Dodge) off the radio, only to find that he'd paid far more than melt value. Others sell food and camping equipment, or collectible coins that are said to be "immune to confiscation" (FDR confiscated citizen gold in 1933, and owning gold was illegal until the Reagan years).
Survivalism is back in vogue now, helped along by the fact that the USA has far too much debt to ever pay back, and will either default (causing a global meltdown) or hyperinflate it away (Weimar Germany type domestic meltdown). Inflation is already starting up again, and some people estimate it to be 5%. There's a pump and dump stock seller called "National Inflation Association", and Glenn Beck has quoted them on air, which goes to show you how little real info is out there. The US govt has run out of buyers for its debt, and is now printing money.
All this makes people want to prepare, so they buy overpriced stuff from the radio hawkers. The business is so BIG now that Beck has a major audience. Beck sold "Goldline" overpriced gold coins for a while, now he's into food storage. The funny thing is, food runs out-if you REALLY want to survive the Apocalypse, you'd better grow your own. I'm on a forum of people who do just that. Glenn Beck is making money hand over fist selling stuff to people. People realize that there's no way for the country to get out of this jam.
As long as the government never raises taxes, either solution is fine.
Actually, I think that you may be wrong. Even if inflation is 5%, that is still, historically, rather low. We did go through some crazy inflation in real estate, but I don't think that even real estate prices have gone back up to where they were a few years ago.
Actually, there are reports of George Soros also spending money to try to take out Glenn Beck and Soros' number two man actually tried to intimidate one of Glenn Beck's employees.

If there is massive hyperinflation you won't even be able to buy a loaf of bread with a wheel barrel full of legit $20 bills.
Also the hyper inflation in real estate values occurred because Government forced banks to make loans to people that couldn't afford them.

Again, the government never forced any bank to make any loan to anyone. Hyper-inflation resulted from the ARM's and non documentation loans that the banks made completely by themselves. Stop making stuff up, please!
As for Glenn Beck, the day where he goes off-air cannot come soon enough. What precisely is posting a conversation between two opinioned commentators supposed to prove anyway. This is not news. These are opinions. This is the equivalent of someone posting an interview between Bill Maher and Rachel Maddow and claiming their discussion alone can serve as factual evidence. Facts must be backed by verifiable evidence in order to be called facts. This what Fox viewers often forget. The line between news and editorial has been blurred passed the point of distinction, hence the confusion by the masses. You can't get the story straight until you get the facts straight.
