I haven't heard of Jewish Fathers running around running over their daughters with cars because they were yoo westernized.

Most Muslim's in the United States I believe are not like this man is, however this incident demonstrates why Sharia Law should not be considered in court cases. Under Sharia Law what he did is perfectly legitimate.

That's the point - there is no Shariah law by which this monstrous act could be justified. Nor will there ever be Shariah law anywhere in America.
And regarding Jewish fathers not killing their children - yes, it's been two thousand years since Jews have been separated from the patriarchal, masochistically culture of the Middle East. In that time, they've adopted Western culture and values.

I suspect that you are incorrect in your assertion about sharia, though I am no scholar of that legal system. I think that sharia has been corrupted in places where this sort of practice is still current.

I think you use the term "court cases," too generally. If my neighbour and I have a dispute over where our fence should be, and my neighbour and I agree that the case should be decided by sharia, the Jedi Code or the Napoleonic Code, we can make that agreement and the Court will respect our "express choice of law" decision, because the resolution of our dispute is a private law matter.

In so far as your statement refers to the resolution of public law disputes (in other words the relationship of the individual with the State) then I wholeheartedly agree with you. There is one, single public law to which we all must adhere, regardless of our individual cultural identities.
