I don't think the USA will collapse (although if it does then it would be a nice side effect). I'm not saying let everyone in. If they have a criminal record etc. then keep them out by all means. But I have a great deal of pity for illegal immigrants--obviously life was pretty awful for them to take that risk. I think that you should look at an amnesty for current illegal immigrants (a massive undertaking, to filter out those that might pose a risk, but hey, you guys have a large unemployed workforce you could use to do the job!). And I think that immigration laws should be relaxed a lot. And if some other cultures become prevalent then embrace the diversity.

Also, I do not follow the logic of a country ceasing to exist ending up with a 1 party system. That seems like a major non-sequator to me.

That is something that merits considering. If too many people enter one country, then the weight of all those people could cause the ground to give way, until *BOOM* the whole country collapses at once.

The various states within the USA are quite lax about enforcing their borders. In fact, I can walk from Illinois to Indiana, without any border guards even looking at me. So far, Indiana still exists.

2. This also will ensure 1 party rule, like a dictatorship.

Which party rules Indiana?

So now you're saying you're from Illinois, why am I not surprised...

Anyways, Indiana is a State within the United States of America Illinois and Indiana aren't exactly different countries.

Cute, but I knew that little tidbit when I was in grade school. Thank you for demonstrating why I have such a low opinion of liberals in general, it's cause many of them behave like elitist twits that think anyone whom disagrees with them is either evil or stupid.

I certainly wasn't disagreeing with you over the relative locations of Indiana and Illinois. You're "way out of line."

You are the one out of line by the smear in which you used to imply something that wasn't true. I just called you out on that smear.

No I'm not. I'm very much in line. Illinois and Indiana are also very much in line with each other. I wasn't implying that they weren't. In fact, there is a very straight line between the two states.

Except the Illinois state government is a cesspool of corruption that makes people in the US Congress look like saints.

That doesn't change its geographic location.
