Capitalists sell anything to make a living or profit. Supply and demand determines the price of capitalism. Capitalists do not believe in charitable actions. Not my taxes is their argument and taxes is where the government has a gun held to your head.

I know you are saying these things as a troll, but anyway: I'm pretty sure what you describe is not really Marxist socialism--it sounds more like the modern social democratic welfare state. Marx described socialism as the workers owning the means of production.

Right, and I'm sure the baker who sells his bread for a profit to families who need food is also a greedy, selfish, immoral sex worker. Those damn bakers, I knew there was something off about them.

Randroid! Ha. That actually made me laugh.

I lean towards capitalism, because it has a proven track record of working, it allows freedom of choice, and it rewards those who benefit society by offering a service or good.

Also, capitalists are not against charity. They're against forced charity, which in essence is theft & redistribution. Liberals and Socialists like to take money out of other's pockets to fund charitable causes.

I'm more of a Libertarian, and I don't see Gary Johnson or Ron Paul winning (although I'll vote for them), so I have little hope in politics, although I am a very avid follower. Howard Dean is right about one thing. "Change does not come from Washington, D.C. Change comes from the bottom up."

Capitalism works much of the time, but not all of the time.

Socialism is doomed to fail because it demands that humans be selfless. That is impossible.
