I'm still waiting for the flying cars promised back in the 1950s....and not those dorky half-plane/half-car things being testing now.

Since it's for fun. Let's make some crazy predictions.

In the Early 21st Century:

Due to the global recession, the strain on energy resources, and economies dependence of these energy resources; it will spark another wide scale war that is larger than the wars we have now but somewhat smaller than the world wars. Yet even though not as many people will fight in the war, more people will die than the world wars due to the efficiency at killing people at a distance.

Economic troubles and tensions between religions will help fuel this war more than what would have naturally happened on its own.

Later 21st Century- 22nd Century

Due to the part currencies, economic models, and religious intolerance played in the war; people will be further disgusted and alienated from them.

Organized religious followers will decline to under 15% while the majority of people will be "spiritual but not religious" (mainly in the West).

We will have computers that will perform operations on physical elements and DNA like we perform operations on information.

We will find an alternative method to created nuclear reactions based on quantum physical laws. This will allow for element transmutation (or changing one element to another).

Due to pressing energy concerns, we will develop our technology to be more life like and made of organic materials so they can be more easily powered and efficient in their energy requirements. We will gradually move away from metallic based technology to life technology.

Based on a easier way to provide more our material needs, we will be more peaceful and tolerant. It will remove the need for large scale war which.

The majority of wars will be small and used for protection against a smaller sect of extremists.

People will be more nuturing of others different from themselves since they discover that their own safety depends on theirs since we are all interconnected and living on the same planet.

We will have space stations orbiting the Earth. The space stations will create materials easier.

We will not concentrate on visiting Mars. Instead, we will concentrate on colonizing the moon and establishing moon colonies.

Technology will continue to advance until we all blow ourselves up and need to start over.

Until then, porn will be more and more commonplace. Get used to it.
