I like Alex Jones. He's one of the only alternative mainstream broadcasters out there that'll touch on subjects that the monopolized old news media won't. If people actually listen to Alex, think, and do their own research about what he says and read the sources .. then it becomes evident he's legit.

You mean monopolized old news media like Fox News? The one he is brought on to as a guest more and more often?
Do your own research into specific real-world subjects he won't touch with a ten-foot pole.. then it becomes evident he's a distraction.

Alex Jones became etched in my mind as one of the Top Ten in American Kookdom about the time he started raving about FEMA Death Camps and the Latvian Intelligence being located in Grayling, MI.

Which is where I was at the time he was ranting about it.

In fact the Lativian Intelligence guys were in Grayling. Training for normal stuff like, oh, learning some things to ensure safety of Latvians in Latvia, since the Russians had left and they needed to work on basic governmental functions for their own country.

The thing about Grayling is, there are maybe 2000 residents, if that, and hunting and fishing is a way of life there (I was fishing). People are outdoors and there ain't much else around, so if anything funny is going on, people notice. And since not much goes on, they sure as hell would remark on it. A lot.

Oh yes, I forget, and there was supposedly something shady FEMA Death Camp like going on in Battle Creek, MI that same summer, which was being set up to lock up everyone who opposed the efforts of the gov't to enslave us or whatever.

Except I was at that Nat'l Guard Post that summer too, because it's a stone's throw from where I grew up, I have relatives buried in the veteran's cemetery I would go visit, and well...sorry the only dangerous thing around there at that time was maybe if you were dumb enough to drive through too fast at twilight and hit a deer.

I gather there was some other nefarious plot at a Nat'l Guard place in Indy, where I had a friend who could see the entire place from his back yard. Luke went out in his back yard and checked for weeks, mostly to continue an online joke with someone who took infowars seriously. Sorry, Alex, nothing was going on there either.

What I find most interesting is when I meet people who manage to believe that both are true:

1. The gov't is not competent.
2. The gov't is out to get us and pose a very real danger.

These, to me, seem self-contradictory.

Oh, but I assure you, I have.

And it has become evident to me that he is in fact legit.

A legitimate kook.
