Political ideologies do not necessarily have to be given a name in order to understand them. Two years ago I studied basic "Communism" primarily through the Animal Farm, and yet, the term Communism was never applied.


What pray tell is communism?

I read it at school (age 13 or 14 ish). I kind of took it literally, and wondered why we were reading a book about talking animals. :oops: The teacher laughed at me. Apparently we were supposed to have an understanding of politics, amongst other things, so we could relate books to the world around us. The guy had his head up his own ass most of the time. Me? I was too busy merely trying to survive another day to care about the rest of the world.
