Standard Republican Party/Fox News talking points.

They don't know what to complain about, so they just make some ridiculous claim of too many regulations.

I don't think there has ever been evidence to back that claim. And I mean ever. The only place with such a ridiculous tax system seems to be the US. And the job creation didn't seem to happen yet...

Again, I'll say it - I expect the rich and big corporations to invest in America because it's the patriotic thing to do. What would you think of underclass people fighting for another country, because of the "climate" of America's military?

i agree
the problem is differentiating the two,
encouraging company growth while minimizing CEO salary.

hollywood pays their taxes sometimes

the top 25 figures in entertainment bring in pay equal to the top 100 ceo's in America. no one is saying that we should curb the hundreds of millions directors, actors/actresses, show-hosts, singers, record producers, etc. reap annually because theirs is art and the other's is greed?

I don't think CEO pay is the issue. It may influence short-sighted decision making but even the company's overall growth is a larger contributor to short-sighted or stupid decision making then CEO pay. Ford Motor company pays Allen Mulaly over 25,000,000 annually for producing amazing results, and that is justifiable. The UAW are not happy and want their recession-concessions returned to pre-recession levels but that 8-figure salaried CEO has allowed to not only keep their jobs, but has invested heavily in American plants and the hiring of thousands of new Ford employees... as well as leading the charge of an American future where America leads the world in Exports. GM had limited CEO pay and that didn't stop them from continuing to use tax-payer funding to fund the stupid Volt.

Right now it is stupid to invest in this country due to Obama's anti-business jihad.

I simply refuse to buy that excuse. I say America first shouldn't be just about putting our international interests ahead of everyone else', or just about buying American products, but also it should entail hiring Americans and putting back into the economy.

Hmmm, you haven't noticed how the stock market crashes every time the congressional Republicans throw a temper tantrum, I guess.

Hehe, it seems the more pro-republican a government is, the more it is likely republicans will call it "anti-business" jihad.

Anyway, how does that handle Kraichgauer's argument? At all? It is stupid to go to war too.

So, move to North Korea. You'll fit right in.

Anyway, the rest of you can see my point. If President Obama loses, then the country will be run into the ground by semi-literate knuckleheads who regard themselves as holier than everyone else, and who perceive themselves as being on a pro-business crusade.

Their first order of business will be to abolish the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Then, they will get rid of social security and medicare.

Then, they will gut all anti-pollution laws.

Then, they will force all Jews to move to Israel, first because they are convinced that the anti-Christ is a Jew, and second because this will cause Jesus to return.

how could tax breaks to the wealthy create jobs(sarcasm)? is increasing a rich mans wealth that much more even correlated with job creation. not to mention the last 10 years or so, taxes on the wealthy are at an all time low, and the wealthy and corporations not only haven't created job 1 but they have managed to bring American unemployment to an all time high in my lifetime.

In the past or currently? Tax breaks mean what, income tax percentages or tax credits? Seems to be some confusion and an effort not to look at history here. What creates jobs is an economy that grows at a decent pace and keeps up with a growing population. This idea is however, at odds with population control statist types with green agendas. To say that one change will fix the economy 100% or even a series of changes is not being truthful about the complexity and at times uncertainty found in economics. Changes take time to be seen in the economic growth and politicians often times promise much more than they can deliver. The 1920s shows a major change in tax revenue collected. Peel back changes and environment to get a better picture.

The thing is that in statistics, which some libs used and abused to push global warming propaganda and at the same time are banking on statistical theory to prevent any correlation/causation between "tax breaks" for the rich and job increases. Don't think I could say that there is a 100% link since the economy is a complex system and any analysis will leave out something but 90%, 90% not bad.

If everyone was rich enough to have a brand new car would that create more jobs than it would eliminate? And are you certain of the answer?

Small business are people. Insulting them and demonizing them might make some of y'all happy but if I had a small business I'd be considering getting out of it or at least sitting on the sidelines saying eff this crap, you'll have to take my retirement from my cold dead hands. And, that seems to be the direction some want. Scary.

Absolutely no one is demonizing small business owners - it's the Wall Street speculators, and big corporations who are the bad guys here.
And yes, if everyone was rich enough to buy a new car, that would definitely grow the economy. But in order to get to that point, people have to have great paying jobs - which is being denied them, despite all the tax breaks we let the rich have.
And just what the f**k does global warming have to do with tax breaks for the super rich supposedly creating jobs?

Henry Ford produced the model so it could be sold at a price all of his workers could afford., A dollar a day. Ford was a genius. A quarter of what he paid his workers came back to him through the purchase of his product. That is, in essence, the Secret of Consumer Capitalism. You pay your people enough so that can buy your product.

There is one rule for the industrialist and that is: Make the best quality of goods possible at the lowest cost possible, paying the highest wages possible.

Sadly Ford's approach needs to be rewritten for the modern corporation.

There is one rule for the corporatist and that is: Make the lowest quality goods possible at the lowest cost possible, paying the lowest wages possible whilst maintaining the highest share price possible.
