False, the foreskin has a lot of nerve endings, which translates to pleasure in sex.

A guy might as well go around with extra long fingernails. They just get dirty and in the way.

So do trimmed fingernails, both need proper hygiene to maintain.

I'm always surprised how much alarm some people give to the foreskin's shortening. And an anti-Semitic comment is rarely far behind, which kind of exposes the reason for the zeal in the first place.

Nonsense.

Like the OWS lady (well, woman) said recently, "The Jews have been kicked out of 109 countries, and they need to be kicked out of this one." Now that's enthusiasm. (The same kind often expressed by the anti-circ crowd.)

Even more nonsense.

Of course, doing away with the WHOLE baby is usually something the same people don't have a problem with.

Back up your ridiculous claims or stop posting nonsense.

And I can scratch my ass better with long fingernails, but to me that little perk doesn't outshine their drawbacks.

By the way, I've nothing against the uncirced, and I don't mean to sound like I do. I just have a preference regarding my area, as is my right. (And, needless to say, no one who is sane will have strong opinions about the conditions of random people's penises, so I don't really see where you're coming from.)

It's a pretty poor analogy, I wouldn't like long fingernails either but I could just grow them out if I wanted to.

I don't have anything against the circumcised or adult men who chose to undergo the procedure, my problem lies with circumcising children.

Patients who request circumcision in the belief that it bestows clinical benefits must be made aware of the lack of consensus and robust evidence, as well as the potential medical and psychosocial harms of the procedure. As the efficacy of prophylactic nontherapeutic male circumcision has not been comprehensively studied in neonates, it would be inappropriate to recommend widespread neonatal circumcision for this purpose.

Circumcision prevents HIV infections? right, if you actually believe that and want to have an unprotected sex life, go ahead.

It actually lowers the risk somewhat, however the only real way to avoid getting HIV is to stay a virgin until you are married and your wife is also a virgin until you get married. Then you and your wife don't have extra-marital affairs and tada neither one of you have HIV.

About that one woman. His claim that it's often expressed by "the anti-circ crowd" is incorrect.

I thought this thread was about male circumcision, not making political statements against the Occupy Wall Street people.

I'm pointing out that antisemitism is still around, I'm not going to google and post up anti-circ anti-semetic antics.
