Really? If you research the concept you might find something, too!

Something like a working link to the evidence that will support your claim?

My view is a tweak of the old expression, "He who has the gold makes the rules." It's, "He who both has, and has made, everything makes the rules." Leaving any actual or proposed B/being out of things for the moment, I think my axiom is perfectly logical:
Out of supreme authorship naturally flows supreme ownership. Out of supreme ownership naturally flows supreme authority.

Still keeping any particular B/being out of our reasoning, examine the following for its logical, philosophical reasoning:

Quote:
Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it,
“You did not make me”?
Can the pot say to the potter,
“You know nothing”?
(Isaiah 29:16)

Therefore, IF a B/being created everything, doesn't the following phrase apply to such a B/being, as it does to copyrighters: "All Rights Reserved"?

If the Bible were anything more than a collection of largely apocryphal stories passed down by illiterate middle-eastern nomads, then it might be effectively used as a valid source of evidence for justifying claims

I am not using the Bible to justify claims. I'm examining the internal logic of a statement.

The food handling rules of Leviticus are hardly an example of apocryphal stories passed down by illiterate middle-eastern nomads...

Oh, dear. Someone who clearly know what he's talking about.

Or maybe not.

Read some real books written by real experts.

agreed, to say the bible is true because the bible says its true is the iconic(and still most used) example of Circular Logic

Sin is defined in terms of the Golden Rule. He who has the Gold, makes the Rules.

Since most of you don't like the bible I will merely give the bible's definition of what sin is. Romans 5:12 says in a nutshell that sin is the result of inherited imperfection from Adam's disobedience. People either live in sin or with sin. Living in sin means they practice things the bible collectively calls the "works of the flesh". In detail these are, "fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects, envies, drunken bouts, revelries, and things like these." (Galatians 5:19-21) Living with sin means someone tries their best not to do things contrary to what the bible condemns like those at Galatians. But because we have a natural inclination towards doing bad we pray to God and ask him for his forgiveness of our sins.

I would say sin encompasses more than that, but not all sin is evil. Sin is simply what is outside of God's plan.

So far, only two people believe that "Sin" is defined by "A unique, undefinable, omniscient, and omnipresent Being".

Does anyone care to guess which two?
