Jacob - that lying, cheating, unethical, magical-thinking goon would be interesting to talk to, probably.
Jacob seems to have had a fairly good family life. His two wives (who were sisters, Leah and Rachel) and two concubines (Bilhah and Zilpah) all got along well with each other--his two wives would trade mandrakes over who got to sleep with him. His oldest son Reuben (whose mom was Leah) had coitus with his concubine Bilhah. Jacob got mad, but didn't kill anybody. None of his sons (whether from a wife or concubine) were disposessed.
Even though Abraham married another woman (Keturah) who bore him six sons, he left everything to Isaac. Isaac's younger son (Jacob) tricked Esau out of his birthright. But, as a father, Jacob gave blessings to all of his sons.
