I have seen the far right. They are complete wackos.
And how the rest of the world scales *is* important... politics are not defined by any one country. Calling Democrats left is simple incorrect, a lie.
Umm, we vote only in our own countries last time I checked. That being the case then what passes for left and right in Lower Slobovia or wherever doesn't factor in to it very much. The world is obviosly not standardized.
Besides, your argument is like saying that Florida can't have a north end because it's too far south or Oregon can't have an east side because it's too far west.
Whatever entertains you, though..............

True, the GOP isn't as socially conservative as I'd like to see it.
I’ve known several older people that used to be democrats in their younger years but switched over when the democratic agenda became more radically leftist, especially on social issues.
If the GOP was any more socially conservative, Republicans would wear white pointed hoods and burn crosses on the lawn of the White House.
It may interest you to know that my great-grandfather was murdered while opposing the Ku Klux Klan. Now, would you like me to insert your foot in your mouth for you, or do you plan on doing it yourself?

After the First World War, when the whole country saw a resurgence of the KKK - even in my home region of the Pacific Northwest - one of my great uncles almost got wrangled into joining those hooded dicks. My grandfather, as well as my great grandmother, had talked him out of it. Not long afterward, a Klan recruiter came around to my grandfather's farm, and told him that there were a lot of people around who were Klan, and if he stuck his nose into Klan business again, he might find his haystack on fire one of these nights. Well, my grandfather countered with, "Well, a lot of us around here belong to the IWW." As you probably know, the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), otherwise known as the Wobblies, were a radical labor union most active in the far west, and who were known to break heads when threatened. My grandfather had become affiliated with them after hitting the road in the last days of the wild west, and having to work dangerous, poorly paying jobs prior to settling down to farm. Mention of the IWW got the Klan recruiter backpedaling on his threat pretty quick. Other than a few more threats, the local Klan were too gutless to retaliate against my grandfather or his family.
