Knowing what I do know now about 666 (the non-gematria side of the equation) it would imply that Barney's a sun-worship icon (a purple sun at that!) and that if anything we should give him a seven-rayed crown, a torch, and put him out in New York Harbor to keep the other sun god company.

If you're gonna get archtypal and Jungian on us- then Barney was already slain back in the days of old by St. George.
