A perfect example of the true monopolistic nature of government regulations. Whilst the Michigan DNR says they're protecting the environment from "invasive species", the big corporate slaughterhouses reap the windfall.
Just like how the government protects us with deadly force against the dreadful scourge of "raw milk", only the hormone pumped corporate cow milk for you. Same can be said about our phony drug war. You can't use these natural medicinal substances, no you have to buy these overpriced and dangerous drugs made by Big Pharma.
Whenever the government says they're trying to protect you regarding anything, it's a good bet they're protecting someone else's pocketbook.
