While I wont argue the damage they do, I do not like the idea of taxing them the way they do.. In Canada, it seemed cigarette prices were jumping every other day - This is not a great thing for society - in terms of people getting it cheaper, I do not care..
I'm not one for politics, I'm anti-government, so to speak, and taxes are a big thorn in my ass to begin with..
