That extremely fast object that just whistled over your head? That was the joke. The one that followed it? That was the point.

Such angry young skywalker

Darling, we wouldn't give a flying f**k about said non-existent things if it weren't for the believers contantly making asses of themselves. The reason that there aren't any 'New Adragonists' is because there aren't any Dragonists trying to re-write our laws to satisfy their Dragon God or constantly trying to convert us and control our sex lives.

It seems atheists make asses of themslefs just as much as theists do

Gotta say that gave me a very good laugh :D

I can get how some theist may get offended, it was very simplistic at certain parts but... it's a joke! I had to resist the urge to actually answer it though

Nah, just sarcastic. I get much more eloquent when enraged.

You can't please all of the people all of the time. I'm noticing you're making the same mistake as always; assuming the only point of view there is, is yours.

Then I'll put in nicer terms what Vigilans already said :P
There are those who are religious, and those who aren't. And humour is a fun way to make light of our differences, and laugh at our inconsistencies. I'm sure there are atheist jokes around, in fact, after some very basic googling

Why did the atheist cross the road?

He thought there might be a street on the other side, but he wouldn’t believe it until he tested his hypothesis.

I bet more people around here would see the humour here, even if it's a jab at their expense. At least understand that, even if you decide not to apply it to your life. And in that case you should realize, we all know you are a zealous defender of your Faith. You've made that clear in many of your posts. So if you are always commenting on good-natured threads or light-hearted inconsequential jabs on religion, you're just making everybody dislike you. I read somewhere in this forum the phrase "Nobody came to WP to be disliked". So unless you want that for yourself, stop ruining the fun for everyone else. If you see somewhere a serious attack on religion, or something truly offensive with such an intent, I guess you're on your right. But otherwise just... skip past

Sometimes I get the feeling I waste my words om you. Don't prove me right :?
