Why some people say that we need more gun control

Gun control advocates would get more bang for their buck trying to end the drug war or reform the penal system. Unless of course saving lives wasn't actually their goal.

He's not wrong here Visa, all of us used to be a lot more patient and willing to explain things to people rather than just counter-attack, but it's gotten tiring. I try and use a tit-for-tat approach to how I respond to people when debating guns, but it's not easy staying polite and informative when you're dealing with quite so many lies, distortions and personal attacks. Hell, some of the old mods used to come in here and insult us, though thankfully that's no longer the situation.
