Stupid idea. I realize he's a big guy with military experience, but even he wouldn't stand a chance against a bunch of thugs armed with fully automatic AKs. Mexico has one of the highest murder rates in the world(it's in the top 5 and will soon be #1)and you just have no f*cking idea how dangerously unstable that country is. Furthermore, the fact that he got in doesn't mean you or anyone else here will. And a low unemployment rate does not mean they are willing to hire foreigners.

Yeah un-smegging-believable isn't it!

The first episode was broadcast last Thursday, was pretty good, not quite as good as the old series, but then I wasn't expecting it to be, but it did capture some of the old magic, and some dwarf is better than no dwarf.

It's being broadcast on a channel called 'Dave', not on the BBC, so I'm not sure what the situation is with it being broadcast in the states. I'm sure it will be out on bluray / dvd soon though.

My Dad and I vacationed in Mexico a few years back. I assume how dangerous it is depends a great deal on which part you go to.

27,000 people were murdered in Mexico last year out of a population of around 110 million. From what I can tell, it's mainly northern Mexico and the border areas with the U.S. that are the most dangerous.

No it hasn't. I'm considering getting a no region DVD player just in case they don't issue a Region 1 Red Dwarf X. Also some of the programs like Lewis or Hex are edited either for time or content in their U.S. release and I'd prefer the full Region 2 versions.
