I, for one, plan to say this to God if and when he ever asks me why I was pro-choice: "God, if you are anti-choice, and are all powerful, why then do you allow abortions to occur? Having the power to stop abortions, and choosing not to, doesn't that make you culpable in abortions? Having the power to remove choice, and choosing not to, doesn't that, in fact, make you the ULTIMATE pro-choicer?"

I'm reasonably certain I've got a good case. But anyone who wants to live their life in fear of god over this issue is certainly welcome to continue doing so, so far as I am concerned.

Will you puhleeeZe stop this God nonsense. God has nothing to do with our social and political situation. We have been on our own for over 10,000 years.

If the Democratic Electorate Collegiates are telling me that they are Pro-Choice then why are they telling me that they are being forced to vote for Obama this Dec. 17th?

Thank you for that wonderful bit of insight and logical tour de force. Sigh. Being Pro-Choice about abortion does not mean you have a choice when it comes to how you might vote in the electoral college. Imagine if you will that abortion was outlawed. Now, woman would still have a choice to have an abortion, or not, but choosing to do so would involve violating the law. In this case, the members of the electoral college have a similar choice, but making that choice would constitute a violation of their pledge, and in many cases, a violation of the laws of their state, possibly incurring upon them criminal penalties.

Any electoral collegiate that defects will have to answer to the will of people.
