Economically slightly right of center, liberal leanings without being anti-authoritarian.

Socially liberal, economically moderate. I'm not affiliated with one party, over my voting life I've voted Liberal Democrat, Conservative and Independent at different times (UK here)

Classical liberal (i.e. mild libertarian in U.S. speak); national conservative; unionist; civic nationalist and anti-EU. I have always voted for the UK Independence Party.

I take the question to be which party do I dis-identify with the most. And that is a tough question. I clearly reject the pinko stinko commie living egalitarian liberals who want to loot me to give my product to the undeserving poor. But I also loath the Republic pseudo conservatives who are just as Statist as the pinko stinko commie loving liberals and want to loot me to enrich their corporate Cronies.

A pox and a plague on both their houses.

I'm a conservative.
I vote republican although I'm getting more and more aggravated with that party and their failure to do anything useful.
One way or the other I'll still be conservative, though..

The First Galactic Empire gets my vote. It has light sabres, lightning bolts and cool space stations. Oh, and I look good dressed in black.

On a more serious note: I'm probably a classical liberal (although I try not to be a fundamentalist about *any* ideology), which is somewhat frustrating, as political parties adhering to classical liberalism apparently are quite rare.

I can name a few - The Progress Party in Denmark is said to be classical liberal/libertarian?

FDP.The Liberals in Switzerland
Liberal Democratic Party in Australia
The Party of Free Citizens in the Czech Republic
The Liberal Alternative in France - these are a tiny party though
The Progress Party in Norway is called classical liberal/libertarian?

Oh, and the UK Independence Party in the UK has a considerable classical liberal/libertarian faction, including its leader, Nigel Farage - though there is also a large social conservative faction in the party too.

I'm a Green Party member. I don't feel passionate about all their spearhead campaigns, but in the Northern Ireland context they are who I gravitate to most closely.

The problem is the "Baggage" that comes with a particular political party.

For instance, The Progress Party in Denmark lost its way because it *only* had an Anti-Islamic message (very reasonable, by the way, but insufficient given all the other problems of society).

And the UK Independence Party is campaigning against the metric system? I like my pints of ale, but to make this a political issue?

I knew that the Danish Progress Party had become somewhat nationalistic, yes. If I were living in Denmark, I'd think I'd be a bit unsure as to how to vote. I'd probably vote for the Danish People's Party.

Yes - UKIP will require everyone to use imperial measures alongside metric.

The ones I listed there are free of baggage and none of them are affiliated with far-right parties.

I diss-identify most with the Republican Party and extreme economic right-libertarians / Ayn Randians. In the US these people strike me as extreme and uncompromising dogmatists who's fire is being fanned by a contingent of old-guard ultra-wealthy who are paranoid of losing their amassed wealth and power.

I sympathize more with left-wing ideology than right-wing ideology but I'm a pragmatist more than an idealist. Ultimately political freedom and democracy is more important than ideology and I will condemn "my way or the high way" ideologues of any stripe. I'm not interested in signing my allegiance to a political tribe.

I feel intellectually detached from any of the political tribes. I'm not a left-winger by implicit moral tendencies, but I think the Democratic party is the sanest in US politics. My perception is that the Republican party is enthralled by the religious right, leading to particularly stupid and cruel commitments in it's social policies. Also, that the Republican party is too committed to military strength in a nation that already has enough(or even too much) as is. Finally, that the Republicans are opposed to science. The third parties of the US tend to be fringe.

So, this leads to a failure to identify with any party.

The Liberal Democrats (UK)
The Justice Party (USA)
The Parti Socialiste (France)

I don't really know enough about any other countries to comment.
