Palestinian girl stands up to IDF thugs

Touche. I am simply showing it cuts both ways. Not every Palestinian is a mindless anti Semitic savage hell-bent on the destruction of Jews and that view has been commonly parroted here. Nobody here is saying that every member of the IDF is a cold hearted monster, but taking into consideration the sum of all things that's what it is as an entity. The fact that they felt compelled to make a video about that one incident speaks volumes. Really it is petty opportunist point scoring. Every soldier should have a duty to preserve civilian life and expect to remain an unsung hero about it.
Last time I checked, the current #1 poster on WP when it comes to one-sided reporting on the Israel-Palestine conflict goes under the name of thomas81.
Let's have a look:
"Palestinian girl stands up to IDF thugs"
"Flatten Gaza like Hiroshima"Israeli public figure"
"Question for Zionists"
"Israel and its abuse of the anti semitism card"
... All threads started by *you*.
And here I am not even including your posts in *other* threads where you frequently cite one-sided sources like the Electronic Intifada. It is odd that I have not come across a post where you cite CAMERA.

I have an opinion on the matter, thats wholly different to being unbiased. Unlike the pro-Israel people I don't unconditionally defend Palestines leadership.
Quite the contrary, I've said NUMEROUS times that hamas needs to be removed (through democratic means). However Israels methods are counterintuitive to that ends.
Nor do I review history view enormous rubbish bin sized tinted goggles.

I've looked at CAMERA's website and its homepage is plastered with pro-zionist thumbnails and links to anti Iran and anti Islam articles.
By what benchmark is CAMERA 'unbiased?'

What planet are you living on? Anyone who disagrees with Hamas in Gaza is likely to be brutally killed. See what Hamas did with the Fatah representatives and with opponents of their regime. They drag 'em through the streets and later murder them.

Collective will trumps the will of a dictator.
If Israel was clever and genuine about wanting peace, they would work with Hamas's domestic enemies (fatah and the PFLP) to assist a internal revolution rather than dropping bombs where Palestinian civillians could be killed.

... Could it be that this was the entire point of me comparing the two in the first place?

Can you elaborate? Last time I checked your grasp of history (and especially the history of Islam) hasn't exactly been flawless so far.

What anti Judaism articles?

Elaborate? I don't hold the opinion that when the first Jewish settlers arrived in Palestine, it wasnt occupied land where there was rainbows and everyone held hands in a ring until the evil, muslim thugs showed up and started killing Jews.
I take it I am speaking to an authority on history in that case?
What are your credentials, pre tell?

I was going to do a detailed search of EI articles... but then I came across this (by a co-founder of Electronic Intifada).

There doesn't appear to be an acknowledgement of the obvious anti Semitism of the Durban II in this article, either.

No sell. I was referring to this:

Seems to be less an excercise in anti semitism and a case of more Israel abusing the anti semitism card yet again to deter any criticism of its policy.

I've yet to see the pro Israelis acknowledge, much less answer any of the criticisms levied against Israel so you tell me.

Perhaps that's because you have already presented yourself as an opponent against the very existence of Israel. Why then discuss specific policies when you have already adopted such an extreme position?

I think the burden lies on the Israeli project to justify why the indigenous Palestinian population has no rights to the lands which their forefathers inhabited for centuries before they arrived.
Its a misnomer to talk about the rights of a country to exist when that country has already made decisions in advance about the rights of the people whom they've robbed.

I'm less convinced that Hamas are capable of leading Palestinians to liberation.
Working class Palestinians need to build bridges with working class Jews and collectively overthrow the ruling classes on both sides. Hamas represents a small band of theocrats that wants religiousity, intimidation and hatred to trump equality, democracy and secularism.
Likud and their IDF bootboys are no better though.

Why are you consistently referring to Israel as having a lower status as a country than other countries, when its existence is based on two UN resolutions?
I don't see you challenging the existence of Pakistan (the Israel-Palestine conflict is a mere footnote compared to the casualties in the Indo-Pakistani wars), Bangladesh, East Timor or South Sudan....

Good luck applying an 18th century concept of "class" to disputes that go back at least 1,380 years.

I do not recall Likud and their IDF bootboys having a plan to kill up to 1.65 billion Muslims.

They "won"? Really? So far, they've stopped launching rockets (Israel's stated goal), and meanwhile their population continues to exist under the same horrible conditions they've been forced to endure for years because they won't agree to a true and lasting peace with the Israeli's. I don't think the Israeli's did much better, to be honest. Most of what happened is a return by both sides to the pre-existing status quo, which is hardly a victory for either.
