What is harming us immensely is nutty tree hugger liberals running the country. They are forcing us to buy gasoline with the addition of ethanol which is ruining our vehicles and actually costs 26 bucks a gallon to produce. So who is in the market for corn? The ethanol producers who are being subsidized to make the stuff by our nutty guv'ment. Forty percent of our current corn crop goes straight to ethanol production..and they dont care if its wet dry mouldy or what..it will still make hooch aka ethanol. Guess who cant afford to feed the stuff to the pigs and chickens or make corn meal etc. Obamie mandated ethanol be used in Navy Ships not long back. They get about 50 gallons to the mile. Hoard Corn!!

It does. I've had bread in that style (or very similar) many times before. It's delicious, much heavier and more filling. A reasonable sized sandwich made with that style of bread is a friggen meal on its own.

in my experience italian bread is the best.

Its tasty enough to be eaten with only base fillings or even on its own.

The residents of north italy love to snack on bread with tomatoes in olive oil.

Or just dipped in balsamic, which is a great little snack.

Yes, well one of the things about America is that you can have either the factory baked mass produced bread OR the better stuff in any one of several varieties.

Here here. Good show old Chap. Actually we was dumb rednecks but a little too smart to fall for the Wonder Bread hoopla. We always been Mrs. Baird folks. Wonder bread has too many uniform holes sorta like foam rubber. Now whoever is touting the virtues of Balsamic vinegar aint tried Braggs Raw Apple Cider vinegar. It will make a person chunk rocks at Balsamics. French Bread is best. The only things Eyetalians know is what the Greeks taught em..lol. My big Brudder was in the Navy and he say the best looking ladies is in Spain. Also get out of Manila before the Portugese Navy Hits town. They apparently dont have very good personal hygiene..access to antibiotics etc.

Ugh, off the top of my head CPI doesn't count food or energy prices. That alone should discredit it really.

You are incorrect. Those are among the main things CPI counts. Get your facts straight before making such bold claims.

I find it difficult to trust someone who makes a sweeping declaration discrediting a widely trusted source without providing any rational justification for an alternative source.
