Being born atheist would amount to having some sort of alleged inner knowledge that there is no god. Awareness that there is God comes little by little, if it comes at all. I have to admit that it is an unanswerable question as to why some people are stubborn atheists when there is God.

Simply because there is no evidence that there is a god. There is also no evidence that unicorns and fairies exist outside of folklore and legend - am I stubborn for not believing in those too?

no… it means you are born without any beliefs. amongst that is a lack of belief in any deities… not even knowledge about any concepts involving deities.

No outside physical evidence.

Someone/Something that creates the physical world should not be apart of the physical world.
The "Creator" is outside of the "Creation" if you will, immortal and infinite. Not apart of our finite world.
I acknowledge there is no physical-empirical evidence of a God in this world, there shouldn't be.
"God" is not apart of this world, "God" or the "Creator" is in it's own separate, temporal entity.
The place I go after I die, hopefully or just cease to stop existing.

Yes, I’ve seen the ceremonies.
They require the sacrifice of 13 straight, white, Christian males and they are carried out by black, Muslim, transgender women.

I think it's important for us to define what god is.

To me god isn't a supernatural being that created the universe. To me the idea that the bible is something more than a book, or a fairy tale is absurd.

God was created in order to answer the question "why"? As if, when your wife dies of cholera, you can ask; "why did this happen?"

There probably isn't an answer to the question "why?", but "how did it happen?" That has an answer.

You can investigate the disease, understand its made of tiny microbes, bacteria, and they affect the body in a certain way causing dehydration and as was the case often death. (If my superficial understanding of cholera is correct).

"Why?" only satisfies a certain kind of question it answers questions of human behavior "why did your brother hit you?"... "Because I called him a doo-doo head" the question is satisfied because we have an implied knowledge that calling someone a doo-doo head is not nice.

God is a way we've sort of personified the universe. To me the conception of god as most people know it has all the signs of being a fiction.

Here in the U.S, it's customary for guys around my age to celebrate a long work day or to celebrate overcoming something of importance by buying a beer as a celebratory victory

After reading what you said in a prior post, I would like to extend an apology if I was being to aggressive when I first started talking/debating.
If it was possible or if you drink beer or not in France, I would buy you one. You deserve that.

Thank you for the sentiment Jake, no apology necessary - if anything I'm a bit harsh on you sometimes and I know I'm also a bit condescending towards believers. I'd like to share a drink with you too. I know we seem to be polar opposites of the religious debate but we still manage to have a (mostly) civilised debate.

Well, people don't usually argue about unicorns and fairies. There's something about God that provokes people into fierce debates about him. This something must be his existence. – Oh yes, I know. You can always say "This something must be his non-existence." But wouldn't even you admit that the non-existence of God would be different from the non-existence of unicorns and fairies?
