I didn't even have to look beyond the thread title to guess who the OP was... again. still.

I bet you could find more genocidal and hateful things said with regularity every day, every hour, on Arabic-language Facebook comments all over the Middle East and well beyond. (But the Electronic Intifada, with its muckracking obsession with Israel and the Jewish state, will never mention this, because it has a brutal, one-sided agenda.

You can't speak Arabic. How do you know what this means and what the wider context would be? Because EI says so? Do a bit of thinking on your own.

Even if this is true, there are hateful idiots out there in every single country on Earth. Are you going to reprint those too, or are you just going to print the ones found on anti-Israel websites with a very specific - I would say hateful - point of view? (There are more genuinely moderate Palestinian voices out there, and those I would happily listen to.)

Its pretty pathetic that your apparent special interest is to scour the internet all day looking for little tidbits to support your position while at the same time ignoring the hordes of evidence that prove beyond any and all doubt that at most, the Israelis are no worse than the Palestinians.

The footage you showed was of a minority, the official position of the PNA was one of condemnation. Also, If you think it was only the arabs who smiled during 9/11 you are sorely naïve.

There are those from the four corners of the Earth with an axe to grind with the USA.

Frankly though, religious doctrine aside, considering the amount of support the USA has given Israel militarily, financially and politically I do not understand why the reaction of the Palestinian on the street is so surprising. No one in the UK during the war particularly lamented the near annihilation of Dresden.

Many, if not most of the world's Jews choose to live outside Israel. If Zionism represents popular Judaism why don't they live in Israel rather than North America or Europe? Arabs do celebrate the misfortunes of the Judeo/Christian alliance no doubt. Israelis on the other hand, through their comparatively cushioned existence should have the benefit of an objective standpoint.

What worries me, and I've already said this before, it is somewhat worrying when a broad range of demographics hold these views largely without challenge. In the british isles, we get this kind of fanaticism from the EDL or the BNP and their ilk but it is usually from the usual suspects; slap headed thugs in football tops that don't know any better. When teenage girls, and supposedly upstanding soldiers are demonstrating these views without reprimand, it is discernably different.

So? It sounds a lot like what some arabs say about the Jews and the Israelis.

The difference is that in Arab countries, antisemitism is completely mainstream in public opinion and is a huge part of the culture of these countries. It is taught to children and preached on television and in the mosques.

In Israel, anti-Arab sentiment is the preserve of a minority of people.

That is because the large percentage of Israelis know there are going to have to live with Arab speaking peoples some of whom are Muslims They have the sense of people who wish to live. Whereas most of the Arab Speaking peoples of the area are Muslim and in their hearts they want to be dead and in Paradise with Allah and their 72 dark eyed virgins (at least that is what the male Muslims hanker for). For a Muslim death (from the life of this world) is better than life in this world.

Were the shoe on the other foot, and the Jews were the ones being physically and forcibly boxed into small parcels in their own lands you wouldn't expect them to sit back in acquiescence so why do you expect that of the Palestinians?
