That's twice in this thread you've brought that up to try and bait a derailment.

Doesn't that fit the definition of a....

.....or do you have to be a conservative to be one?

^^^thats just in case Jesus is to busy to help them
They look at it like "The Lord helps those who help themselves",in this case it means helpin' themselves to the ammo. They like Bible thumpin' and then they go to the shooting range after church lets out.
Meant to get this in behind Thomas81,a little slow on the post.

Jesus Christ never told you or anyone here that we should turn the other cheek if someone slapped us on one cheek. His instructions were originally never meant for us because he didn't expect us to exist later in the distant future.

Moral advice is pretty flippin' useless, in every way.

It doesn't work if there's a need for self-defence.

Explain how i'm wrong rather than whining about attempted thread derailment then.

Shouldn't Christians that have the faith of a mustard seed be able to turn bullies into pillars of salt?I'm thinking of The Sodom and Gomorrah Home Security System.Intruders out to do you harm??Turns them into salt,it's operated by faith,if you don't have enough, better get a gun or a large dog.

Your first post on the thread was how about silly gun carriers didn't trust the god they said they believed in. That one failed to catch anyone's attention, so you said exactly the same on your second post, that time more bluntly. The first time could be passed as just you expressing your opinion, but two times? It does look like you were actually trying to get an answer out of someone. Personally Raptor should have left that one alone too instead of taking the bait even if he was aware it was a bait, but it's too late for that.

I don't think you guys will solve your gun differences anytime within the next century, and this shouldn't be the place to try. If he attempted to explain why you're wrong, that counts as thread derailment.

Just goes to show turning the other cheek does not work.

If Raptor had taken the bait there'd be another gunz-r-bad debate going on.

No, but being a doormat is.

If I slapped you on one cheek for no valid reason, I expect you to retaliate and fight back.
