Well, that's their problem as far as I'm concerned. Bibi's insecure, so he's trying to make enemies abroad seem menacing.

And as an American, I would be very unhappy if either Bibi or the Saudis try to bring the United States into this. The last thing our country needs is another war.

True. I think RP's comments on Israel being able to defend itself are playing out. Saudi Arabia, Israel, and who know who else can form a NATO type alliance. Who knows, maybe it is what the Middle East needs to bring peace.

It's simple, they are following the "enemy of my enemy is my ally" principle.

The KSA/gulf fear Iran more than they fear Israel and they were enemies since forever, there's a historical bloodshed, sectarianism and mutual racist deep-rooted hatred between the two nations - the only issue between Sauds/Gulf Arabs and Israel is the recent Palestinian cause (whom the Gulfies/Saudis really barely cares about and aren't that in love with the Palestinians), while the issue between the gulf arabs and Iran is way deeper, more direct and innumerable.

It's only very logical for those Arab nations to become strategic allies with Israel.

To defend themselves? So Iran has declared war on Israel and attacked them? If not then they dont defend themselves, they are the one attacking and the Iranian are the one defending.

Iran has never attacked, but has threatened them both directly and indirectly many times. Because Israel has a powerful army and is backed by the world's only democratic superpower (and because Iran has fallen out of favour with China), even the sociopathic Ali Khamenei won't attack. Showing off power without attacking previously kept Joseph Stalin from invading Western-Europe.

By the way, have you noticed the recent YouTube ad?

It comes up when you are watching YouTube videos. This is the first one that I've seen with such a political message to it.

For another perspective:
