I think feminism may be turning me into an awful person.

Anyway, it's not feminism's job to care about your problems. Feminism cares about problems that women face. Some people have a problem with feminism not caring about everyone,

According to Big Red here:

the Feminists are taking care of everyone's problems, and everyone else should "shut the f**k up."

I don't know, but I suspect that Big Red doesn't get a whole lot of cock. But, at least she really enjoys what she does.

Well, he could try to market himself as a Feminist, and infiltrate a Sex-Positive Feminist organization. If he is shouting "Down with the Patriarchy!" louder than anyone else at a rally, then he might stand a decent chance of getting some coitus that evening.

Of course, he had better make sure that he isn't getting involved with Sex-Negative Feminists. Otherwise, he'll end up with nothing more than masturbation fantasies to work with.

Still better than the same thread would have gone on the escapist, and I feel like I got at least somewhere towards identifying the source of the issue.

There are no feminists that call themselves sex-negative because it's a misnomer. Thinking having sex with men is bad (obviously, I diagree with that) does not equate to being anti-sex in general. Neither does thinking the sex industry is bad (guilty as charged there) equate to being sex negative. 'Sex negative' is just a slur rather than a legit classification, but I suspect you don't give a toss about that (no pun intended.)

Oh, I'm always up for a toss.

Here is a lady who misnomers herself, then:

Maybe I'm keeping up with Feminist nomenclature better than you are.

She misnamed herself in order to get the attention of the 'sex positivity' movement. She's not actually anti-sex.

So she's up for a bit of coitus, then? Lostathome ought to get in touch with her.

AP, you're using a legitimate thread from a poster with a legitimate issue to troll for attention. There are plenty of other active threads for you to fish from.

@ the OP, there's a woman here in Portland who's a 'professional cuddler.' People pay to dress in pajamas and snuggle and talk for an hour. She's not a therapist, and everything is documented so that everyone knows it's all legal, but if you could find something like that it might help you to get over the initial hurdle of just feeling comfortable around a woman. You'd have to be careful not to get attached to her, though.

That might help, but I think that his other problem is that he is unemployed and has no money. I wonder if there is anyone who would give free cuddles? But, then again, some of us have issues with touching.

True. I wouldn't want to cuddle with a strange man, professional or not.

As for payment, the other alternative would be a therapist, which wouldn't provide cuddles but which might be covered by medicare or other insurance.

I doubt that would be covered by Medicaid/Medicare/Insurance.
